STAY SOFT is committed to ethical practices. As such, we take a “progress, not perfection” approach, meaning we employ these practices whenever possible but may occasionally re-educate ourselves or alter our processes. We vow to be transparent along the way.

 

MATERIALS: STAY SOFT aims to reduce plastic waste used in shipping methods as well as products. The key word is “reusability.” When possible, we limit sending you single use plastic. (For example, your order might occasionally include bubble wrap we’ve repurposed. Our hope is that you might endeavor to do the same!)   

Our spray bottles include plastic sprayers and caps, but our hope is that consumers like you can reuse these bottles when appropriate and/or safe (perhaps in art projects!). With other products, we aimed for plastic-free, reusable, and lower environmental impact items such as aluminum, glass, natural and recycled cork stoppers, etc. We also prioritize products that have post-consumer recycled content and products that are by the average consumer easily recyclable or compostable.

The only plastic you will ever receive in your STAY SOFT order is from our spray lids, the top of our diffuser lids, our product labels (which are polyester–used to combat fading and provide oil resistance), and reused shipping supplies. We promise to never send you anything wrapped in four layers of plastic. Really.

 

INGREDIENTS: STAY SOFT has taken care to research our ingredients whenever viable to ensure that they are sourced ethically. To us, that means the earth is being taken into consideration but also that the labor used to obtain an ingredient was ethical too. We take IFRA (International Fragrance Association) standards seriously and additionally aim to use as many vegan or natural products as we can. (All products are VEGAN unless otherwise noted!)
